Adna Pekmezovic is Head of Mergers & Acquisitions at Ascension Advisory, where she leads the firm’s M&A platform focused on founder-led, family-owned, and privately held businesses. She partners with owners and management teams to navigate strategic transactions - from pre-sale positioning to deal execution - with a sharp focus on maximizing value and preserving legacy.

Adna began her career at Bank of America Merrill Lynch in the Leveraged Finance group, advising both corporate and private equity clients on complex debt capital solutions. She later joined Octant Partners, where she worked directly with entrepreneurs and owner-operators to shape growth strategies, improve operational performance, and support high-impact decision-making. These experiences underpin her thoughtful, hands-on approach to M&A advisory.

At Ascension, Adna combines deep financial expertise with a passion for entrepreneurship, helping business owners make informed decisions at critical inflection points in their journeys.

She holds a B.B.A. in Finance from the George Washington University.
