The transaction involved the company’s 155,000-square-foot, Class A, industrial facility located in the prime industrial corridor of Mexicali, Mexico. The building serves as a mission-critical location for the North American operations of the business including production and distribution functions. The business has invested significantly into the property through various facility improvements since moving to this location in 2014.
Ascension Advisory structured a sale leaseback transaction, selling the building to a private real estate investment firm based in Mexico City, while the company committed to the location by signing a long-term triple net lease at the time of closing.
