Sam Jacobs is the Global Chief Marketing Officer and Head of Canada at Ascension Advisory, where he bridges brand leadership with business development to accelerate the firm’s growth across North America. In this dual role, Sam oversees global marketing strategy while leading Canadian operations, with a focus on sourcing new opportunities and building relationships with private equity firms, real estate investors, and business owners.

Sam brings deep local market knowledge and a boots-on-the-ground approach to cultivating trusted partnerships. Through his work, he’s built a strong reputation for clear communication, commercial intuition, and the ability to connect with stakeholders at every level, from founders to institutional investors.

Before Ascension, Sam held senior marketing roles at global consumer brands including Coca-Cola, Anheuser-Busch InBev, and Pernod Ricard. He began his career in sports and entertainment with the Vancouver Canucks and the Toronto Blue Jays’ minor league affiliate, a fast-paced environment that shaped his high-performance, relationship-first mindset.
