**Background:**

The Ascension Advisory team represents MiddleGround Capital, the private equity owner of Corsa Performance. Recently acquired by MiddleGround as an add-on to their Race Winning Brands platform, Corsa is a market-leading manufacturer of high-quality performance exhaust and air intake systems that help their customers transform their cars and trucks into vehicles of their dreams. Corsa operates out of their nearly 60,000 SF facility in Berea, Ohio.

**Client Objective:** 

MiddleGround and Ascension have a history of collaborating on numerous sale leaseback transactions. The MiddleGround team views this strategy as a crucial component of their investment approach, enabling them to unlock capital for reinvestment in newly acquired businesses like Corsa.

**Solution:** 

The Ascension team revved up a highly competitive process, with tailored outreach focused on established private and institutional investors. After multiple rounds of bidding, the deal was awarded to a sophisticated investment firm targeting sale leaseback opportunities. Ultimately, all parties raced across the finish line and the transaction successfully closed well within the timeframe desired by the client.
